[UPDATED] Dillinger's 'One of Us is the Killer' Track Listing Has Nothing to do with Reindeer...

Various shadowy corners of the internet are claiming to know the track listing for The Dillinger Escape Plan's One of Us is the Killer. Check it out after the jump. UPDATE: Dillinger has just released a YouTube video containing roughly 30-second samples of every song on the album. Check that out at the end of the post.

First of all, I'm really disappointed. After finding out the title and the name of the first single, "Prancer," I was really hoping all of the tracks would be named after Santa Claus' nine reindeer. Then I started to imagine some abstract concept album where one of the reindeer was a murderer and only by listening to the lyrics and reading the liner notes could the listener figure out who done it.

Seems pretty out there, but then again so is Dillinger.

Anywho, the following is the track listing provided by some European webstore called Impericon. Some foreign versions of Amazon.com are also claiming (and selling) a deluxe edition which may or may not follow in the footsteps of Dillinger's Option Paralysis and include bonus tracks. As always, take information provided by webstores with a grain of salt as they are not factual or authoritative, but still enjoy the possible information they have to possibly give you.
  1. "Prancer"
  2. "When I Lost My Bet"
  3. "One of Us is the Killer"
  4. "Hero of the Soviet Union"
  5. "Nothing's Funny"
  6. "Understanding Decay"
  7. "Paranoia Shields"
  8. "CH 375 268 277 ARS"
  9. "Magic That I Held Your Number"
  10. "Crossburner"
  11. "The Threat Posed by Nuclear Weapons"
Bonus points will be awarded to the first person to figure out what the hell the title to track 8 means.

The Dillinger Escape Plan's One of Us is the Killer will be co-released through the band's own Party Smasher and Sumerian Records on May 14, 2013. It's also guaranteed to land on most, if not all, heavy music publications' AOTY lists for 2013.

Below is the first song off the album, and sadly the only song named after a reindeer, "Prancer." I wrote a little bit about this track two weeks ago.

[UPDATE] Today, Dillinger released a YouTube video containing samples of every song off One of Us is the Killer. The vibe of the album sounds very new. Some songs sound almost more technical and mathy than their debut Calculating Infinity. Some of the vocals sound a little like Mike Patton's on Irony is a Dead Scene. But overall it sounds very new, which will be refreshing since Optional Paralysis was basically Miss Machine Part 2. GET EXCITED!
